Ron has a US Coast Guard 100-ton captain’s license with sail and towing endorsements, He has done coastal deliveries in both power and sail boats and is comfortable operating all types of vessels up to 75-feet. Other boating venues have included San Francisco Bay and Delta area, Lake Tahoe, Southern California and Mexico. Ron recently sold his Olson 40 sailboat and is experiencing being boatless for the first time in over 25 years. “A unique experience that I am sure will not be long-lived,“ says Ron. E-mail Ron
Bill Lee
Bill started FastIsFun. When everyone was designing slower boats under the IOR, Bill was one of the first ones to break out and present another (faster) way. In 1977 his legendary yacht Merlin took 22 hours off the Transpac Course Record and neither he nor the competitors have looked back. For 20 years he was president of Bill Lee Yachts, Inc. and his Santa Cruz 27s, 33, 40s, 50s and 70s blazed a trail. Form follows function and there are 14 of Bill's boats in the upcoming 2009 Transpac. After retiring for the boat design and building business, Bill spent 14 years as president of Wizard Yachts Ltd, a brokerage and consulting firm. He was instrumental in forming the California Sled class, the Transpac 52 class, the STP 65 class and continues to get people out sailing both race and cruise. Bill will remain in Santa Cruz but in this universal communication era, he will bring a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to Yachtfinders. E-mail Bill

Steve Dexter
Steve has had an interest in boating for as long as he can remember, having owned his first boat at the age of 11. Boats he's owned include monohulls, catamarans and power boats. Steve started with Yachtfinders in May of 2002 and comes from an excellent background in the areas of business, marketing and sales coupled with five years of brokerage yacht sales and a long list of satisfied customers. Allison Lehman
Allison decided it was time to do something fun with her life after taking a break from her 15-year career in the wine business. She wanted something where she could interact with people on a daily basis and yet continue working with a product she had passion for. Yacht sales seemed to be a natural fit, yet it came to her quite by accident. She had purchased a boat through a broker who not only insisted that she needed a job, but that she needed to come to work for him! After learning the ropes, Allison has become a permanent fixture in the world of yacht sales. She has enjoyed and sold both sailboats and powerboats in the San Francisco Bay area for the past 15 years as well as co-founding Golden Gate Yacht Sales. Her knowledge is vast and her network with other brokers and their yachts extends throughout the world as she has delivered boats to clients both here and abroad.
Her hobbies include both racing and cruising. An active member of the Richmond Yacht Club, as well as Pacific Cup Yacht Club, Allison has participated in helping people prepare for the Pacific Cup race to Hawaii and gives of her time on race committee for RYC sponsored races.
Allison currently resides in Pt. Richmond with husband Jerry Keefe where they keep their Wylie Wabbit and their Sabre 362.
She has demonstrated her expertise of matching buyers and sellers over and over again with her many return clients. Her goal is to have buyers end up with the perfect boat and sellers end up with the perfect sale: the win-win situation. E-mail Allison
Clark Hardy
Clark was exposed to sailing by his parents in San Francisco Bay before he could walk. As a young boy he raced dinghies and crewed on race boats at California Yacht Club in the junior sailing program. He moved inland for a number of years to live and work in Yosemite National Park and attend College in Fresno. Clark continued sailing and racing boats on California lakes, as well as owning and operating marine businesses including a marina and commercial tour boat operation. The purchase of an Olson 40 brought Clark to San Diego. The boat is outfitted to cruise along the Pacific Coast and enter an occasional race. Upon arriving in San Diego he began managing and racing sailboats at local clubs as well as competing in distance races. Clark joined Yachtfinders/Windseakers to be a part of a winning team! Tim Hanley
I have been in the boating industry for over twenty years and grew up on boats in the Chesapeake Bay. Not only have I made my career in the boating trade but I have also enjoyed the boating lifestyle. At present, I own a local charter business (‘Sail San Diego’) that specializes in getting our visitors out on the water for day/sunset sails. Starting in 1991, I spent seven years in the USVI, BVI, Aruba, Belize and the Caymans specializing in underwater and marine images. Following that, I captained several charter boats for nationally-known companies in the Caribbean and the Mediterranean where I became better educated about boat construction and lay-outs. During that time, I raced in all the regattas in the Caribbean winning the Heineken regatta in St Martin. Over the last five years, my knowledge of the boat sales industry and my passion for boating has come out in every sale. From the first time we meet at our office, I will walk you through the process to help you make the boat buying experience more enjoyable. E-mail Tim
